Ashley Johnson (born 16 May 1986 in Wynberg, South Africa)〔http://www.sarugby.net/index.php?option=com_players&view=player&id=33591&leagueid=0 SA Rugby: Official Profile of Ashley Johnson〕 is a professional rugby union player who currently plays for Wasps RFC in the Aviva Premiership. He previously played for Free State Cheetahs at provincial level, Central Cheetahs in the Super Rugby and the Springboks. He is usually used in the No.8 position, although he has often been moved to Blind-side (No.7 in South Africa) and Open-side flanker (No.6 in South Africa), but also played at Hooker (No.2).
